Difference Between Users and Stores
Users and stores are two different entities.
- A user is a person with an email address that has access to MarketPush.
- A store has a set of offers to be sold on the Marketplace, contact information, and orders to manage.
Adding Seller Users
When you create a new seller store in MarketPush as a Master Operator user, you will need to invite the first Seller Administrator to the new store. The Seller Administrator user has all the privileges and permissions required to effectively manage their store and add other users to it.
If a Seller Administrator user needs access to more than one store, create the user and then add seller stores to their user profile.
Assigning Users to Stores
One user can manage multiple stores but must be given access to each store by a Master Operator user.
Steps:
- Click your Profile Icon
- Click Manage Users
- Search to find the correct Seller user
- Click the three dots under the Actions column
- Click Edit
- Select the Sellers tab
- Click Add Another Seller
- Select store from the Select Seller dropdown list
- Select the role from the Seller Role Assignment dropdown
- Click the Add Seller button
- Repeat if applicable
Switching Between Seller Stores
Seller accounts that have multiple stores associated with the same email address can switch between stores after they log into MarketPush.
The store switcher can be found in the application header and contains the MarketPush stores associated with the logged-in Seller account.
The store switcher doesn't include any stores that have been archived.
Users who are sellers with access to multiple stores should be particularly careful to log into the correct account when adding, managing products and offers, or processing orders. This helps prevent any unintended changes or errors across stores.
Seller users cannot remove themselves from a store. This must be done by a Master Operator.
