In MarketPush, an "Offer" represents the price set by a Seller for their product on the marketplace. When a Seller lists a product, they specify the price at which they are willing to sell it, and this becomes the designated "Offer" for that particular product listing.
Depending on how the Operator has configured their MarketPush instance, customers browsing the marketplace can view multiple offers for the same product and compare prices, delivery times, and seller ratings before making a purchase. MarketPush encourages competition between sellers to offer customers the best value and selection, which often leads to price reductions and competitive pricing strategies.
Managing Inventory
Through the MarketPush platform, Sellers have the ability to manage their inventory. To sell a product on the marketplace, Sellers need to create product listings for each item. Once a product listing has been created, they can specify the inventory levels available for that particular product.
Sellers can choose to manage their inventory manually or through MarketPush's /offers API endpoint
When a customer or seller cancels an order, MarketPush automatically updates the inventory levels to reflect the canceled items.
Proper inventory management on MarketPush requires regular attention and monitoring to ensure that sellers can meet customer demand and maintain a positive standing with marketplace metrics.
Creating a Single Offer
To create a single offer on MarketPush, follow these steps:
- Log in to your MarketPush account
- Click on Offers on the left navigation menu
- Click on the Add Offer button
- Type in the provided search box to search for the product
- Fill in the offer information
- Click Save to submit the product offering
If your marketplace practices a one-to-one product-to-offer model, you might have to create the product first, and then add the offer to it. You can do this from the Products page.
In the Offers section of your MarketPush account, you have the ability to manage your offers, including adjusting the price, quantity, condition, and availability timeframe of each offer.
