Role of the Seller

A seller is a legal entity or individual who is able to sell products on the Marketplace.


A seller is often referred to as a Shop or Store.


A marketplace seller is an individual or business that sells products and services through a marketplace provider.


It is the seller's responsibility to do the following within their store: 

  • Create/maintain product listings
  • Create/maintain offers
  • Configure shipping
  • Fill out and maintain their seller profile
  • Process orders
  • Process shipment
  • Issue refunds (if applicable to their Marketplace program)
  • Accounts receivable (if applicable to their Marketplace program)
  • Adhere to the Marketplace's Terms and Conditions
