Shipping involves the transportation of goods from one location to another. It is often a complex aspect to establish and manage within a marketplace. Additionally, it can be one of the highest costs for sellers per order, making it challenging to determine how much of that cost should be passed on to the buyer.
To set up your shipping preferences, simply log in to your MarketPush portal. Once logged in, navigate to the left side of the portal menu and click on "Shipping". From there, you can configure your shipping rates according to your preferences.
Adding locations
MarketPush uses your contact address as your initial primary location. To change your primary location or to add additional locations, follow these steps:
- Log in to your MarketPush account
- Click on Shipping in the left navigation menu
- Click on the Add Location button
- Enter the location name and address
- Click the Save button to add the new location
Managing multiple locations
Operators can allow sellers to manage multiple Delivery locations so that they can fulfill orders from different locations. Locations can be retail stores, warehouses, or any other place a seller manages or stocks inventory. If multiple "Delivery From Addresses" has been created as shown in the below screenshot, you will need to select one location as your primary location for fulfilling orders.
Setting a Primary Location
To set a different primary location, follow these steps:
- Log into your MarketPush account
- Click on Shipping in the left navigation menu
- Click on the Edit button of the location you wish to edit
- Toggle the Primary Location switch to on
- Click the Save button to save the changes
For historical purposes, you are not able to delete locations that have offers or orders.
