Configuring Commission Rates for Sellers

Commission in MarketPush

Commission in MarketPush falls under two different types of rates; Absolute and Flexible commission rates. When creating or editing a Seller account, the Operator will be able to change the type of commission used for the store.

Absolute Commission

When the Absolute rate option is enabled, the seller will get paid at the defined Commission Rate for all transactions and overrides any product category commission rate.

Flexible Commission

A Flexible commission rate is based on whether the product sold under a particular category has a commission rate defined or not.

  • If the product category has a commission rate defined, operators will pay a commission to their sellers based on the commission defined in the product category.
  • If the product category does not have a commission rate defined, the seller will get paid at the commission rate defined in their account (i.e., store).

Examples

You can configure or change a Seller's commission by clicking into the Seller's profile and selecting the Billing tab.
