These settings are global, applying to all seller users across your marketplace platform. Configuring these options is a necessary step before launching your marketplace.
Available options:
- Allow sellers to automatically accept all incoming orders
- Allow sellers to create products
- Allow sellers to determine to track quantity for products or services
- Allow sellers to partially cancel orders
- Allow seller to export products
- Automatically open sellers
- Days sellers are closed
Allow sellers to automatically accept all incoming orders
If you enable this setting you will allow your sellers to enable auto-acceptance of all orders that come in to their shop. Sellers who have electronically delivered products such as software or services, will use this feature the most often.
Allow sellers to create products
Enabling this setting will allow your sellers to create new products within your marketplace. Allowing sellers to create products can greatly increase the diversity and range of your marketplace's offerings, potentially attracting a wider audience.
Allow sellers to determine if they want to track quantity...
Allow sellers to determine if they want to track quantity for certain types of products or services. Example: build to order(BTO), or electronically delivered products.
Allow sellers to partially cancel orders
Enabling this setting will allow sellers to partially cancel orders. This means that they can cancel only part of an order. If you would prefer an "all or nothing" approach to order acceptance/rejection, then you will not want to enable this feature.
Allow sellers to export products
This setting determines whether sellers can export product listings directly out of their seller account into a spreadsheet. Sellers typically use this feature in order to make updates to product data, or add the products to their internal database (ERP, PIM, etc).
If you want your sellers to create and manage products within their own portal, you will want to enable this setting.
Automatically open sellers
Enabling this setting means that when a seller store meets the following criteria, their store will move into open status automatically:
At least one product created successfully
At least one offer created successfully
At least one shipping zone configured
Required store detail fields populated
Delivery address(s) stipulated
Days sellers are closed
This setting allows you to put a pause on marketplace orders for all seller stores on specific days of the week. On the days that you choose, all seller offers will become inactive and unavailable to customers.
If you'd like your marketplace to receive orders 7 days a week, do not click on any day. This setting does not let you stipulate hours.
