Account Configuration Checklist for Operators

Checklist

A dedicated Master Operator user will need to configure and set up the marketplace platform by enabling a series of global settings. Below is a checklist of required and optional account configuration steps. 

Required

All settings mentioned below are found on the General Settings page. You can access the General Settings by clicking on your Profile Icon and selecting Settings. 

• Application Settings: Seller - Enable permissions for your sellers based on your business needs
  
  

• Billing Periods - Create billing periods and assign sellers to them once they've joined the marketplace (if applicable to your program)
  
  

• Manage Attributes - Customize global and custom field attributes to tailor to your own unique requirements
• Manage Categories - Create product categories that are used to group your products
• Manage Category Attributes - Create the attributes under each product category
• Shipping - Configure Shipping Zones, Methods, and Carriers that will be offered to customers
  
  

• Terms and Conditions - Upload your marketplace program's Terms and Conditions for sellers to view and accept

Optional

The bullets below are optional and can be executed from the General Settings page. 

• Appearance - Personalize your MarketPush appearance (i.e., logo, site title, site icon, colors)
• Preset - Choose a default number of items that appear on all list-based pages (Application Settings > Preset)

The bullets below are optional but recommended, and can be configured from your User Profile page. 

• Contact Phone Number - Enter your phone number to complete your profile
• Notification Settings - Enable and decide what notifications you'd like to receive from MarketPush
• Default Landing Page - Decide what page you land on when you log into MarketPush each time
• API Keys and Service Accounts - Generate an API key to automate the flow of data between MarketPush and your internal systems
