Welcome to MarketPush! Follow this guide to set up your company's tenant and get started.
1. Create Your Account
- Check your inbox (or spam folder) for an email from info@marketpush.com. This email will prompt you to create your account. Follow the instructions in the email. Click here for detailed instructions.
2. Complete Your User Profile
- Once logged in, go to your user profile by clicking your profile icon and fill in all the necessary details and tabs. Click here for detailed instructions.
3. Configure Your Site Appearance
- Click on your profile icon in the top right corner and go to Settings > Appearance. Here, you will:
- Enter your Site Title.
- Provide a Contact Email and a Sender Email.
- Upload a Site Icon.
- If needed, edit your company’s Contact Details and address.
- Under Advanced Settings (scroll to the bottom), customize your Company Colors.
4. Set Up Application Settings (If Applicable)
- Go to Application > Application Settings and fill out the details specific to how you want your sellers to interact with the platform. Click here for detailed instructions.
5. Create Product Categories
- Organize your product offerings by creating relevant categories. Assign appropriate attributes to each category to help sellers and buyers filter and find products easily. Click here for detailed instructions.
*If requested, MarketPush will create your product categories using our standard taxonomy.
6. Create Billing Periods (If Applicable)
- Define billing cycles that align with your company's requirements. This will govern how and when payments are processed. Click here for detailed instructions.
*If you are not operating a multi-vendor marketplace, there's no need to create billing periods.
7. Set Up Shipping Methods
- Go to Shipping Settings and configure shipping methods, carriers, and geographic zones. Click here for detailed instructions.
8. Upload Marketplace Terms & Conditions (If Applicable)
- If you're launching a multi-vendor site, make sure to upload your Marketplace Terms & Conditions so all sellers understand the rules and guidelines. Click here for detailed instructions.
9. Set Reminders (Optional)
- Set reminders for key actions to keep everything running smoothly, such as monitoring seller performance, billing, and product uploads. Click here for detailed instructions.
10. Add Operator Users
- Invite more operator users from your team and give them the necessary permissions. Train them on how to use the system effectively. Click here for detailed instructions.
11. Create Products & Offers
- Upload your products to MarketPush using your Seller account.
- Upload your offers to MarketPush using your Seller account.
*All e-commerce clients receive two accounts in MarketPush: a Master Operator account for managing their multi-vendor marketplace operations and a Seller account for handling their product offerings, which are displayed on their website.
12. Create Seller Stores (If Applicable)
- Begin creating seller stores for each of your vendors. This is where sellers will manage their inventory, orders, and store settings. Click here for detailed instructions.
*If you are selling MarketPush's MarketMatch PIM, our team will create appliable Seller stores in your account on your behalf.
13. Set Up Commission or Markup (If Applicable)
- If applicable, configure commission or markup rates for your seller stores, ensuring each seller’s pricing model is properly aligned with your business. Click here for detailed instructions.
14. Add Billing Period to Seller Store (If Applicable)
- Designate a billing period to the new seller store. Click here for detailed instructions.
15. Add Seller Users (If Applicable)
- Add users to each seller store so they can start managing their products and orders. Click here for detailed instructions. Click here for detailed instructions.
16. Monitor Product and Offer Uploads
- Keep an eye on your or your sellers’ product and offer uploads. Troubleshoot any issues that arise to ensure smooth operation. You can do this from the Products & Offers pages in your Operator account.
16. Activate Seller Stores (If Applicable)
- Once everything is set up and reviewed, activate each seller store so they can start selling. Click here for more information about store statuses.
Ongoing Maintenance:
Monitor Seller Performance (If Applicable)
- Regularly review seller activity to ensure they are adhering to your terms and conditions. If needed, suspend or archive their accounts. Click here for detailed instructions.
Clean Up Manufacturer Names
- Keep manufacturer names organized by removing duplicates and correcting variations to ensure consistency across your website. Click here for detailed instructions.
