How to Emulate a Seller's Account

MarketPush provides a “seller emulation” feature to make it possible for you to log in as a seller to carry out actions on their behalf.  

You can only emulate a Seller user, not another Operator user.

As an Operator with sufficient privileges, you can emulate a user to

• help troubleshoot user issues or assist users with seller account setup

• help sellers with difficulties encountered during their onboarding process

• manage seller accounts and carry out specific actions that they are unable to perform as an operator

Log in as User

You can perform all the same tasks that the seller has the permissions for.

To emulate a seller, follow the steps below: 

1. Click your Profile Icon

2. Select Settings

3. Click Manage Users

4. Search for the user you'd like to emulate

5. Click the three dots under Actions

6. Choose Log In As User

7. Click the Continue button to confirm you want to log in as the user

When you are logged in as a seller user, a banner is displayed at the top of each page. To stop emulating a seller, click Exit on the right side of the banner and return to your account.
