Every store has a status. The status affects the availability of the store's offers.
The possible statuses are as follows:
Status | Description |
---|---|
Open | The seller store is open, active offers are visible on the front end. |
Pending | The creation process for the store is incomplete. The Marketplace operator must manually approve the creation of the new store. This status depends on whether the option is activated or not by the operator. The seller can still access their store and continue configuring it (e.g., fixed shipping fees, and upload offers). All store offers are inactive and are not visible. |
Suspended | The operator can manually suspend the store (i.e., when the seller goes out of business). It will remain in this status until the operator resumes it. The seller can still access their store. The store is still subject to subscription payments but its offers are not visible on the front end. All offers are inactive. |
Closed | The store is closed, usually for holiday purposes. Its offers are not visible on the front end. All offers are inactive. The seller can still access their store and manage existing orders. The store is still subject to subscription payments. |
Archived | The store has been manually archived by the operator. It will remain in this status until the operator restores it. Assigned sellers cannot access an archived store. The store is not subject to a subscription payment and all offers are inactive. |
About store status management by the operator
At store creation, the store's status is "Pending".
The operator with sufficient privileges may:
- manually suspend a store
- close a store for a defined period of time by indicating a Closed from and Closed to date
- close a store indefinitely by indicating a Closed from the date and no Closed to date
- open a closed store
A seller cannot resume a store that has been suspended.
Only Operators with sufficient privileges are able to restore seller accounts that have been archived.
Note: Please be advised that MarketPush is legally required to retain some types of data, such as order history. We do this in line with applicable laws including for tax and accounting and fraud prevention purposes.
