How to Assign Attributes to Product Categories

If you created new product attributes for certain product categories but didn't make them global attributes, you will need to assign them to their respective categories so that users creating products are prompted to provide that data. 

To assign attributes, do the following: 

1. Log into your MarketPush account

2. Click your Profile Icon

3. Click Settings

4. Select Manage Category Attributes

5. Click on the category and then select the first subcategory 

6. Click the Actions button (...) and select Manage Attributes

7. Next, click the Sync Global Attributes button that appears to the right of Attributes

This will pull in and assign all the global attributes that have been created in your account and allow you to choose from a list on non-global attributes.

8. Then, use the dropdown search bar to search for the attribute(s) you'd like to add to the category

9. Click Add

You cannot delete global attributes from product categories, but you can delete those that are not global.
